To show you what I see and tell you what I think, I need to create content and lead the viewer to my conclusion. Bringing design and imagery successfully into academics (when you’re not in the art department and when you are) requires thoughtful study of information architecture and visual vocabulary. Understanding the grammar of design and the tools technology puts at our fingertips helps all of us tell a compelling story about our research.
